Howdy,

Just wondering if anyone might be able to give me a hand, I pulled off the lower suspension arms the other day to change the bushes and low and behold I couldnt get them out. I went to the Gregory's manual and they said that you need specialised tools to do it. Can anyone give me a bit of step by step instruction on how to remove and replace the upper and lower suspension bushes om my XF please ?

Dunno if it's the same on XF, but in an EA you need a hydraulic press (or a big vice and alot of patience).

I think you have 3 choices:
1)Take them to a Pedders place and get change-over arms.

2) Buy the bushes and find a friendly auto repairer to install them for you.

3) Buy a press ($300+) , and the appropriate tools (another $300) and DIY.

Easiest way is just to buy change over arms because this way the u get a recoed arm as well.
