How do I get rid of Creaking noise from front end
I spent $1500 on suspension allround a few months ago, and the creaking stopped for a week and then came back and is as bad as ever. All the front end components were cheked while I was there including the tie rods ball joints and bushes. The steering rack was replaced with a brand newy he only found one bush that was in need of replacement; and that was an upper control arm bush. The lower ball joints were in good condition stil,l and basically the front end in theory didnt need touching. I even decided to replace the rear shocks with some decent ones and the gas struts with Koni fully adjustables the red type. Now after all this you can imagine how pissed I am that the Friggen creaking noise is back with a vengance. How can I stop it? How do I find out what it is? It does it especially when the wheels are turned full lock and you apply the brakes in reverse and even does it travelling forwards. It does it under hard braking travelling in a straight line and you can feel it in the car as well not just the noise:( I forgot the car is a 1997 xh falcon ute fuel injected inline 6 auto Mods: 2 half inch sytem from the cat back, immobiliser, central locking, remote start, keyless entry, anz 16 inch alloys VDO soundsystem, amp kicker 6 by nines 4 inch tube sub, Koni fully adjustable shocks
