Hi everyone i recently purchased a 98 EL XR6 manual and i have a set of 18s on order (Hard to get when hardly anyone makes for pre AU now) and after searching on lowering there isnt much info on how much to lower these cars with 18s on them.

So how far do you guys recommend to lower to look good and still remain some comfort

Get superlows, shortened shocks and camerkit. Wouldn't get higher than superlows... the lower the better. Super's should do the job for looking nice, and remaining a resonable level of ride comfort. If your not hauling backseat passengers around much... make sure whoever is fitting gets the rear level with front.
