Hi all,,,,can anyone help me with a small query?
When did Ford change the diametre of thier hub centres?
Was it between the XF and EA?
The reason I ask, is that I have an EF, and am looking for a set of alloys for it,, and the ones I really like, are the XF fairmont "snowflake" style.
Thanks all
Wheels from XA to EL, all ae interchangable.
EA's came out with snowflakes aswell, so did EL's for that matter.
Must be the longest running rim style in the Ford catalogue.
Stud pattern remained the same from XR to at least EL. But hub sizes were small from XR to I believe late XB, then they went to larger hubs. Hope this helps!
The stud pattern is still the same on the AU-BA, but it now has a front wheel drive offset.
Correct. 5 stud pattern for Ford is 114.3mm and has been for a long time, and CBL (hub center) is 70.7mm. Yes, Snowflakes would go on EF no probs, unless you live in the NT, doesn't snow up there.
