eek If superlow is too high try ultralow!

Hey all, was just going through the king spring catalogue and it appears they have one step LOWER than superlow...ultralow...I thought superlow was a pain in the arse as it is when I had them on my eb..always scrapping on speed humps etc - I can only imagine what it would be like with ultras!

Anyway, does anyone have these? How much lower than normal are they?

I guess they would definately make a falcon sit like it should though....nice and llllllooooooooooooowwwwwwww

The last time I checked their catalogue I looked out specifically for ultra-low, because I had heard the term mentioned.

However, I recall being unable to find anything lower than super-low. There's a surprisingly complex range of springs available. This is the catalogue I refer to.

No such thing as ultralows - They are progressive rate springs that can be made to order. Standard - Low and Super Low are they basic range. The catalogue gives options on spring tensions and lowered heights (oxymoron?) etc if you need that custom look.

I went to pedders looking at their sports ryders and they showed me a king brochure. In the back they actually state that the super-lows (or whatever the lowest ones are) are not intended for road use and should only be used for show (eg photos, car shows etc)... The guy said that I have lows... but another suspension place actually looked at the tag on the spring, rung up king and they said they were super-lows so I don't know.

dont see why they would be illegal - they dont drop it below 100mm which is min legal ride height for any car in aust...

me and my dad have fully insured superlows - we both still have legal ride height and our cars only sit 1" closer to the deck with superlows, so NRMA is happy :)

oh - you gotta buy a XR cause they come out 1" below stock falc already...but my last EB wasnt a XR and i had superlows in that - the insurance co didnt care and still paid when i stacked it (through absolutely no fault of the sprigs you understand!

Dont Talk to me about SuperLows.

I put superlows on mine, and i couldnt get in and outa my driveway, had to get it changed to just lowered. I still have trouble with a full tank of petrol. And i cant have any passengers in the car when i go in the driveway. If u have a good driveway, highly recommend it, unreal ride. U can push it into corners and it stays so bloody flat. Lowered springs are ok, but not as good.

I read somewhere on the kingsprings site that there is a suspension kit for ea-ed. But i couldnt tell you if they were lower than superlow
