Tongue It's has a haunted suspension compressor.

The missus reports the NB's self levelling suspension compressors keeps working on its own for a few minutes when the car is parked and locked. Haven't had a look yet or run the self diagnosis but before I do I just wondered if anyone else ever had this happen.

re

I know that on the EA Fairmont Ghia the moment you turn the car on the compressor turns on and trys to pump the rear shocks to level the suspension as for when you turn the car off I think it bleeds the air slowly which should be quiet without the compressore working.

I have heard of this happening, because someone with an EA Ghia reported it on our old board I think. I'll see if that thread is in our archive.

I suspect the SLS relay is shorting or failed so it is switching itself on; I'll swap it and see. I was able to observe it late last night when I was locking up before bed (some hours after car had been parked) when it ran for perhaps 5 seconds.
