I've seen K-MAC castor/camber kits praised on FordForums. Anyone have any experience with any of their other parts - springs? swaybarz? Any comments or recommendations? I want to lower the Fairmont Ghia to XR height and reduce the body roll and K-MAC is one of the brands I'm looking at, but can't find much history.

I have been to Kmac a couple of times

All they did was bag out the fact I had King Springs, they reckon they were too soft and that they could do something for me much better. Didnt say too much about my Koni's but lol

I have since heard that Kmac stuff aint top shit either, springs have sagged etc. But this is only going off what others have told me.

Their swaybars look mickey mouse though :)

Thanks Casper. I heard though that the XR springs are hard, and you probably know the bacon bus is built for comfort. Can anyone compare the ride comfort of AU Ghia VS AU XR?

is 27mm.

again, im going from what I have heard. Whiteline also make some quality gear

if your after a decent ride as well as good handling look into some progressive rate springs. Soft as your little sisters butt until you get on them....

easy comparison, the ghia springs are foft, the XR srings are a hell off a lot firmer. I a Ghia the wife sways, in the XR she jiggles! I prefer it when she jiggles

OK. . How about this: You keep the XR springs then. And I'll fone K-MAC tomorrow re pogressive springs, so my girls sway and jiggle gently.

I think I'll go the K-MAC camber kit and the swaybar too. Then the 17 x 8 wheels. Then bigger stoppers.

After that I'll be happy. Though I bet everyone thinks that and then they whack on a supercharger.
