There is no way in the world i can justify or afford Koni's or Bilstein's. So i have been looking at KYB and Monroe. I need the shortened shocks to go with my superlows and have got quoted $326 for all 4 monroe gas gt shocks or about $450 for the KYB's.
Do any of you guys have experiance with the brand of shocks and lowered springs?

I would just like to point out you say you need the shortend shocks, but GT Gas dont come in a shorter stroke, so if someone has told you they are, then they are pulling your leg. I've asked just about every suspension shop I can think of and they all tell me GT Gas only come in one stroke lenght. That being said, I would recommend KYB's anyway, have em on the XW and they are great.

RedEF6, I'm supposed to have shortened GT gas shocks, in fact many people within the club are. If they are in fact standard length I'll be quite surprised.

Thats interesting, dont suppose you have part numbers do you? Cos after many a search I couldn't find any different part numbers. Not only did dealers tell me that there is no shorter stroke shock, but from their website (which you have to actually click different links etc. for lowered cars) it always spits out the same part number.

I've got Monroe Gt gas sports shocks on my EF, sitting nicely inside my King Springs Low's, and they're great. I'm not sure if they're shortened though??? How can you tell?
