Has anyone attempted to modify the drivers seat so that it will sit lower?

I have found since moving from my EA to my EF that I always feel like I am perched up high even with the seat at the lowest setting. I am just wondering if anyone has tried modifying the base of the seat or anything like that?

Technically if you modify the seat rails etc you need an engineers cert. You might be able to get an upholsterer to modify the seat itself though.

i was thinking of doing the same thing in my ed xr6, i am gunna check it out & let you know.

Don't know if the seat mounts in the EF are like the older falcons, but in my XA I had spacers between to seat and the seat rails. By removing these and replacing with a washer I was able to lower the front seats about 1/2".
