when i got my wheels put on 1 month ago, they had to use these stud spacers to fit the EL wheels on. Now, this makes the wheel stick out like 2 cm more than they are supposed to. The back set are fine, they will fit under but the front worry me. When i get it lowerd, will the wheels bend in more? should i get the gards liped and flared out? or just flared? or should i just get them liped? Can someone also in melbourne, let me know a good place to get it lowerd for a good price. The tyre factory quoted me around $850 for new shocks, springs and cambers. Firsty, i dont think i need new shocks, they can wait. Anyone who has a E-Series car and lowerd could help me here, i want to spend around $500 to get it dumped, if anyone knows a good hook-up, please let me know. Some pics of peoples E-series car lowerd aswell would be kool. Thanks everyone
i'm suprised you needed spacers?
a camber/castor kit will make the front wheels bend in a little, but depending on how low you go flaring the guards would most likely have to be done.
from what i've heard, with standard low springs, u won't have to replace shocks, and the wheels should be fine with the guards, but any lower and u'd be wanting to upgrade shocks and look at flaring the guards.
