Hey guys and galz, ive been dreamin of a new set of wheels for a while now and ive always wanted a set of EL GT's but the problem is evry1 else wants em and is beating me too it!!! so now my idea of being individual is becomin fast shattered as i see more and more e-series with them!!!

anyway i am up for any1's suggestions on what they think are a good set of 17 inch wheels that suit E-Series cars, cheers! any pics would be cool too!

I have yet to see another car with Antera type 309s, nice 6 spoke, tyre valve is under centre cap to give it a clean look. They were on there when I bought car, but I understand they are pretty expensive.

Supa Roo, Yep those ones, I get good comments all the time on them. Pain in the backside to do the tyre pressures, but a small trade off I reckon.

When the wife picked it up in Perth, to drive it 1600kms home, she couldnt find the valves. I thought women etc, neither could the fella at the garage, and neither could I!!! Finally found out a few weeks later. Never seen it before.

XplodBoom - they are nice rims. Good choice. I was actually thinking of going a set of Avantek - Blades in the 17" range. But wasnt sure on how my car would look with those rims on it.

I reckon some of us should look in to more originality than just copying what everyone else has got. Dont get me wrong, the ELGT(rep), AU2(rep), and other rims that I have seen on this site look killer. They are just looking a bit same ol.
I also realise the rim range for E-series is limited, but I do beleive a lot of wheel manufacturers are starting to accomodate us Ford owners especially recently with the launch of the BA and Ambroses win in the V8's. They realise ppl like their fords old and new and want them to look better than Mr Holden's car next door.

Originality is what will get heads to turn in the end, thats my opinion.
