Master cylinder for 79 Ford all disk setup?
I just joined this forum and was hoping to get some help/advise on my project car. Last summer I converted my 79 2dr LTD Landau from rear drum to rear disk. I went to Iraq and just returned. Now I am trying to finish the job. I believe I need to replace the master cylinder since is was designed for disk/drum. Any recommendations of what master cylinder will work?
NOTE: I already removed the residual valves and installed a proportioning valve for the rear end. All is wide open and I am still unable to lock up the rear end. Based on this (and from what I have been reading on-line), I deduced I will need to replace the master cylinder. Also, the booster is pretty old and worn. I want to replace that also. A setup with both booster and master cylinder will work too.
