Mercury Sable 1994 used... good condition but
I have Mercury Sable 1994, and I just owned it recently, it has 200,000 km and average condition. I have three problems in this car:
1-jerking brake ( there is no ABS in my car), Just when I apply brakes and just before it stops it kicks and then stops. On high speed brake is smooth. There is no sound coming from the brakes, I have just skimmed the four wheels last week. Could it be the problem with the gear?
2-loose steering, specially on highway. I have 2 bad ball joints and 2 bad stabilizer rods, could that be the reason.
3-When I change the gear, I get a jerk also, and the RPM goes little high. Sometimes the jerk is hard and sometimes barely noticeable. This happens basically on the reverse gear, not in any other gear. What could be the problem.
Can anyone tell me what could be the problem, because the place I stay in there is not too much of those who know about Ford cars, and the dealer here is very expensive.
