i live on the lower peninsula and ive seen an absolute MAGIC black EB XR6 with chrome 18" mustange saleen wheels on it cruising round frankston. they didnt look to be re-drilled they fit and looked awsome!! has anyone seen this car.. its all black, no tint, exhaust, manual, and insted of the red stripe around, it has a yellow stripe.
my q is.. does anyone know the nut sizes of mustang wheels.. i think i may have found a new source of wheels for the e-series. seing that there is crap all out there, in comparison with commy's
Mustang wheels are the same stud pattern as Falcons, but they generally have more offset. Pre AU Falcons have 0 offset, Mustangs have 22mm.
So they will sit 22mm closer in, which may mean clearance problems with the upper part of the spindle. Unless you run a 20mm spacer....

Martin, quoting offset without reference to width is meaningless.
A 6" wheel with zero offset will have 3" (OK, 3" and a bit) backspacing.
An 8" wheel with zero offset will have 4" (OK, 4" and a bit) backspacing.
It is the backspacing that is most critical with Falcons as the fronts can foul on the suspension upright as mentioned. Go the other way and the tyres can foul on the bodywork.
That said I also believe Mustang wheels (~8" wide) fit Falcons.
Rob, the 22mm I was reffering to was with the standard 8in wide Mustang wheels...
