Could any one help me, please? My son would like to swap the lighter front coil springs on his '68 Galaxy with the heavier coil springs on his '77 LTD; and he would also like to convert the front drum brakes on his 1968 galaxy to disc brakes from his '77 LTD. It looks like the springs will be a direct fit and the brakes look like they will be a direct swap from the ball joints to the wheels, is that correct. Will the master cylinder be adequate to work with the disc brakes? He has a long duration cam in his 390 cid and only about 4-7 inches of vacuum so he won't use a brake booster. Does this all sound like it will work? Please e-mail me at
