Does anybody know of a modern tyre manufacturer that makes/sells redline style tyres? Nearly every second old Falcon GT you see at car shows is wearing them.
I know there are plenty making whiteline/whitewalls now like Michelin, Pirelli, Kuhmo, Yokohama etc.
I can of course get oldstyle reproduction tyres (like Coker Redlines) but they would be very expensive and probably have poor handling.
Actually it looks like most of these old GT are using regular tyres and someone out there adds the redline. Does anyone happen to know who can do that for you?
There are people around that carve a groove into the tyre and then paint it or whatever they use,there is a guy in Bendigo that does this so there has to be other's around that do it.

Have you tried to keep it simple and just put a flexible additive to the paint and paint it on yourself. By taking some care and being fussy, it should work quite well and cost a hell of a lot less.
I seen people with white lettering painted on there wheels, funny thing was they didnt take them off to do it and it had runs! haha
so personaly unless you do a good job with quality paint it wouldnt be worth it
