biggrin New shocks!

Hey again guys,

Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a set of new shocks for my EA and where is the best place to purchase. Don't need anything fancy.

thanks!

Just the other day I e-mailed Lee from www.performanceparts.com.au and am waiting on a quote for Monroe GT shocks shortened to suit my car's ride height.

My plan is to use them until the day I can afford Koni or Bilstein.

If you can get the Monroe GTs at a good price I would recommend them. I have the shortened ones on my lowered EA and while the ride is firm it is not stiff or uncomfortable. A great compromise in my opinion.

Searched up American Auto Parts (in Sydney) and they list the following prices:
15-0202 GAS SHOCKS XE-AU SEDAN REAR REF.CAT $99.95
35-0191 MONROE FRONT STRUT NA-NC;EA-ED $96.12

I believe they are the GT-GAS part numbers. Sound about right?

I have estimated an all-up price around $400, so that's right on par. But since I haven't heard from Lee, I'll ask a friend of mine who works in the industry.

All up, do you mean front and rear installed Jack?

I think my shocks are rooted so I think I need to replace them
