Well when i crank my sound system (6*9's and 6") a really annoying rattle comes from the rear of the car. Originally i thought it was the number plate but im pretty sure its not now. I put some rubber under the numberplate and screwed it bak on and something still rattles. When i put pressure on the numberplate though the rattling stops. So i think it might be the whole boot garnish thats vibrating and annoying the sh*t out of me. Any ideas on what to do to stop it vibrating?

had the same problem with my EA. The boot Rattled really badly when i cranked it.. i siliconed the weld points of the bootlid, and it stopped it.
