mad not more AU wheel questions !!!

well actually it is!

I have heard that the AU series wheels are dished the same as Camry and Hilux. As far as i know hilux and hiace run the same stud pattern, therefore i should be able to bolt au rims on my *cough* toyota hiace with no problems?

anyone done it or seen it done??

Also, anyone got any cheap AU rims 4 sale? Not worried what type so long as there alloy, and are round :)

The 2wd Hilux have the same stud pattern as Falcons, but im not sure if the offset is the same? But it certainly would be with the Camry?

But Ive seen a Toyota Soarer with the AU1 17in XR8 rims, even had the Tickford centre caps :oo1:

Actually, while we're on the subject, Nissan Maxima and 200SX, and Magna all have the same stud pattern and offset as the AU.

Well I won't be telling my folks about that. The Old Girl has asked about putting my mags on her 200SX. I told her they wouldn't fit.

The diameter of the locating hub is actually slightly different between the two. I think that the 200SX has a 65mm dia hub and the Fords a 70mm dia hub.

So, the ford wheels will go straight onto the 200SX as far as I am aware, but to put 200SX wheels onto the Ford you need to do a bit of machining (or get in there with the die grinder!).

There is an EB/ED with AU2 XR wheels in canberra. Also late RX7, 929 and rwd MPV have falcon stud pattern. As does RAV 4 and the Explorer.
