Hey

Im a bit of an Novice when it comes to wheels
I know about xx" x x"JJ etc. but my mate said to me the other day
What about offset? and i thought what the f**k is offset?
so anyway i have an 89 EA GL with Factory 15"x7"JJ Snowflake Design Wheels currently sitting on 205/65/15's and i was wondering could anybody tell me the offset for these mags

xb to el wheels are all interchangeable. they have
same stud pattern 5 X 114.3mm (4.5in)
same hub size
and same offset about 0mm

AU and BA offset is about 35mm (some times refered to as fwd offset in USA as lots of Jap cars have this offset.)

to answer your question the snow flakes have 0-5mm offset

i have missed something
i was looking at the mags in the weekend and i noticed that underneath
where it says 15x7JJ it says 6.4, is this the offset?

That 6.4 could be the offset (+6.4mm) but it's hard to be sure.
Offset is also a function of wheel width so even for 2 wheels designed for the same car a 7" rim will have a different offset to a 6" wide rim.
