Plastic Centre Cap on 14" Steel Wheels...Offset Matter?

Hey Guys!

My XF still has the original 14" Steel Wheels at the moment( i know i know i need to upgrade!)...they are similar in style to the "Taxi Pack" ones you see on the EF, EL and AU models. One of the plastic centre caps, which is held on with the wheel nuts has cracked. Ford has a replacement part but does wheel offset matter with the centre cap because the wheel nuts go through it??

Thanks

Extreme

From memory they are held on by a taper on the shank of the wheel nut so it shouldnt matter what the offset of the wheel is as they are only covering the hub.
