I want to polish my alloy wheels on the XH two out of the 4 need a bit of errr... ummm... maintenance on them after a dog jumped out in front me and caused me to run over a traffic island(bloody dogs).
Ive spoken to two outlets who polish one says that I wont see a thing once polished and the other reckons I will see something but not a lot.

I dont want to risk polishing them then see a big weld mark or whatever mark is left.

Anyone been down this road before ??????

I can speak of exeperience, but from what i've heard they come out ok and teh damage is almost undetectable but the coating they use apparently doesn't last too long and starts to peel off after a while.

I guess it depends on the place if they do a good job or not. I guess best way is to get 1 wheel done and see if your happy, if not get new wheels.

Thanks Strider, Ill do the spare wheel then see how she goes, what about Electroplating vs polishing.
I hear that electro is dearer than polishing any one had it done??
