I have a 1993 Ranger Splash with 120,000 miles. The rear brakes tend to lockup when the brakes are applied. It is more noticeable on wet pavement or gravel. Both tires lockup, not just one. What could it be?

did this just start to happen or have you had the brakes replaced and then notice it ?
has anyone worked on it recently ?
have you tried backing the brakes off slightly, they might just be set to tight.
if you jack the rear of the truck up can you turn the wheels freely or do the brakes drag alot ?

Would it have a RABS sensor?

I'll jack the rear axle up and rotate the wheels and listen for drag.

As far as I know, the brakes have not had work done recently. I had new tires installed 3 months ago.

What is a RABS sensor?

Could it simply need a hydraulic oil bleeding?
