When I got my baby 6 months ago, I had to replace 2 of the tyres (no thread), not sure with what I got (i'll check this arvo and post)

Anyways, my rears are down to sub 1.5mm so there past defact so I need to get them changed asap.

My plan is to drop the newish ones which are currently on the front, onto the back, and the new ones onto the front.

Does it really matter what kind of tyre I get? It's a stock Au2 Forte, and I don't go too hard around corners (thanks to the very rollable suspension).

I suppose what I'm asking is, is there a big difference between going with 2 slightly more expensive tyres, if so, what do people recommend? Or will it be the same if I just bought some cheapies and put them on.

Get tyres that are great in the wet, thats the only time when you really need them to work good.

I got a set of Hankook TGP's i think they are called, they seem to grip really good in the wet, and were only $149 each, not too bad considering "decent" stock tyres are $120
