Did something stupid tonight. Coming back from the boss's place I forgot to take the handbrake off (klight in dash doesnt go) and drove about 10km with the handbrake on. Realised when I got home and got out to find the rotors both glowing brightly creating a glow which lit up the ground a little. My first reaction was oh shit. So I backed out and took the car for a quiet drive hoping to cool them down somewhat. Got back after 1 min and they had stopped glowing so I left the park brake off. The smoke coming off those babys was unreal... And talk about stink. I can still smell it either coming into my house or on ,my clothes. Reckon my rotors will be warped tommorrow. When I took it for a spin i didnt notice any shudder when I had to brake nor any brake fade, but I suppose most of the braking is done at the front anyway.

Haha I'm not surprised Karl lol

I did the same thing in the LandCruiser when I went off roading once, but the difference here is that the handbrake is on the towshaft so didn't make much difference, it barely worked anyway... But it wasn't long after I noticed, and it did smell :)
