Hey guys, just wondering wether ne1 has replaced the rear sway bar bracket things b4? mine cracked and has to be replaced coz hits the floor over small bumps :(! mechanic told me its bolted on and welded aswell. Is this right? i can only c the bolt but no weld.???
If ne1 knows wats the go, please explain.....

Should not be any weld unless somebody's done a bodge job before.
The swaybar is held on by 2 D brackets on the diff, and a bolt down through each end coming off the chassis. Total of 1/2 hour's work to remove unless the bolts are rusted on, which they probably are.

yes i recommend a wirebrush and an overnight soak in WD40 prior to removal
