Replacing AU Centre Mount Brake Lamp - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

The Parcel Shelf Stop lamp in my AU stopped working today, I took a quick look and it seems I'll have to remove the carpeted shelf to gain access to the lamp holder.

Anyone changed the lamp in theirs and if so, how?

Dickheaded -ness confirmed, went out there and lo and behold. . .(after taking all the crap out of the boot)

It must get hot in there as the lamp was so brittle. I think it'd already broken inside the stop lamp enclosure, I had to pull it out of the holder by the two wires.
