Im looking at replacing all (i mean every single one) the suspension bushes front and back of my EA falcon. I know a pressing tool is required to do this, but has anyone done this at home? I got a quote of $800-1000 to replace all of the bushes in the car, which i feel is way over the top, but justiyable due to the huge labour outlay. This is why im concidering doing it at home.

1st. Does anyone know of the aproxamate cost of getting all Nolathane bushes all round for a Falcon,
2nd and the cost of a bush comressor?
3rd any other special tools neaded

(whilst the suspension is droped out im going to install King Super Lows and short stroke shocks, but thats easy

Ok, for a start if your going to replace your shocks you will get bushes in the kit with those, but if you want to replace them with nolathanes no probs. Grab a pen and get these prices into you.!

Front: Caster/Camber $70
Sway Bar Link - $16
Sway Bar Mt - $14 depending on size of bar
Strut/Radius Rod to Chass $35
Strut/Radius Rod to C/A $28

Rear: Sway Bar Link $20
Sway Bar Mt $14
Upper Trailing Arm Kits $134 Brand new arms with bushes in.
Lower Trailing Arm Kits $143 Brand new arms wth bushes in.

Alternately EVOFORD1 kits include Caster/Camber Kits
Radius Rod Bushes, Swaylink Bushes depending on size
Shcok bushes, Control Arm bushes and trailing arm bushes. $370

So take your pick..hehe..

If you can get hold of gregory's manual number 267 for EF's page 12 shows how to use bolt, nut and washers to remove and instal bushes, I also use rubber grease and it makes it easy as.

Yeah, ive had a Camber/Caster kit previously installed into teh car with Nolathane bushes, so they wont need replacing. Ive been told its the Radius rods+sway bar that is making teh creaking noise at the front.

So i think my plan of attack will be to

Replace all front bushes (except for camber/caster which are newish)
Replace front shocks and springs (Super Lows)

And install just trailing arm bushes, as my suspension is in greak nick except for the bushes.
rear shocks+Super Lows
