Resetting shocks! - Ford Forums

Hey all, went down to local Factory Direct tyres...i want my car lowered etc...anywhoo the point is..they offered to reset my shocks and give me a choice of springs...wat is reseting shocks and is this ok?? he rekons it will travel just as nicely on road handle the same. price is..600 with new springs...and camber kit...i think like 320 for that without camber kit...is this reasonable/reccomended..anywone had it done..or is it better to get new shocks...lowerage was like 35mm but siad could do it to the height i wanted!!!??? thanx

Unless they are adjustable or dismantable shocks they usually can't be reset. Was he talking about resetting the springs perhaps.

yeah maybe springs..sorry i wasnt sure...!!!
