Seized caliper on EL

Hey guy's, any idea's what would cause a front caliper on an el (non abs)to seize. I've just put new pad's and roters in it and the caliper wont push out enough. I've tried bleeding the brakes a couple of times, though I've never had this problem when changing pads before.

Any help would be aprecieated.

Re: Seized caliper on EL

You may have a bit of grit stuck in the piston, stopping it from moving all the way out.

Re: Seized caliper on EL

U talking piston siezed or slides siezed??... hav u tried pushing the piston back again?? and then refitting but i would recommend fitting caliper kits as it sounds like the fluid was contaminated at one stage causing the piston to sieze and damaging the internal seal ring..
