when travelling above 60 (epecially at freeway speeds) there is a noticable buzzing/ shaking coming from the front suspension through the wheel, when you are in a straight line it mostly dissapears until you turn the wheel for a corner.

Also under hard braking a clunk can be heard from the left side front suspension, this also occors when moning slowily on full lock

any ideas

sounds like a steering rack to me.

Before you go changing the steering rack, check out your tie rod ends. Jack up the front of the car, then grip each front wheel at the front and back. Rock it side to side and see which bits move and how much play you've got before the wheel engages the steering column. If the tie rod moves, it's probably the rack, but if you get play between the wheel and the tie rod, the tie rod end is cactus.

Same thing happened to my EB. Check that the K frame bolts are tight and the problem should go away. The K frame holds the front suspension in place sort of like a cross member. Apparently its a pretty common thing on these models.

the drivers side rack moves in out a bit (funny though tho noise comes from the other side)
