shockies buggerd?

ive taken out my rear shockies and whenever i compress them they dont come back up they just stay theyre, whats this mean?

and when ever i push down on the back of the car it squieks?

Sounds like it's time to go shopping bud. Compress and de-compress them a couple times just to make sure, but sounds like they're sound dead.

your shocks are stuffed. Replace them.

What type of car is it?

They may not be stuffed.
Only gas pressurised shocks will come back out by themselves.
They may just be an older 'oil only' filled shock.
If they are quite firm when compressing and rebounding, then they are likely just fine.

Stand it upright and pull it in and out a few times to also see if there is any dead spot.

The squeaking when your car is pushed down could be many different things, and in fact more likely bushes.

just replace them! You can get Gabriel VST shockers (gas filled) from supercheap for $42ea.
