I've been offered a couple of sets of 18" wheels with slicks mounted. This would be perfect for when I take the ute out to the track, but I'm wondering if anyone's using Supra / Skyline / Soarer wheels on their AUs.

I know the stud pattern is the same, and from the Jap cars that I've seen, the offset LOOKS similar, but before I make the 2 hour drive I'd like to know who has used them before.

18 by ? and how big/wide are the slicks. The max offset for AU is +40, but then thats more so for the front as a +45 (5mm more) would foul on the suspension. Supra, Soarer and Skylines usually have offsets between +45 to +50 I think which means the rim would sit more in towards the inner guard. I think you gonna have to try them on and see if you can put your fingers between the tyre and the tub guard.

Red - thanks for the reply. I missed out on the wheels. I should have just bought them anyway - they were cheap enough...

Oh well, at least I know what max offset I can use in the future.
