Sports Style Shocks

Just was wondering if any of you guys and gals have had experience with Koni adjustables and which type?

From what info I've gained the Koni adjustable shock with the knob at the top only adjusts the rebound and the other type of shock adjusts the damper by unbolting the bottom and turning it??

Talk about confusing. :oo1:

So what is the consensus (if there is one :s2: ) in here on the best shocks/springs combination for a basic street-friendly lowering of an AU XR8??

- How much to lower - front & rear ??
- What brand springs ?
- What brand shocks ?
- Are adjustable shocks worth the effort/$ ?

Hi,

I recommend Koni Adjastables, if you are lowering your car.
When you lower your car, you need to get shocks to suit the lowered spring. You cant just put the same shocks back in.

If you are just replacing the shocks, and leaving the ride height the same... I wouldnt bother with adjustable shocks.

FYI... I have Low King Spings, and Koni adjusables. I LOVE them.
