Squeaky Front Springs

At first i liked the "Ford Squeak" but now its driving me nuts. The smallest of ride in the front end whilst driving lets off the most embarrasing of squeaks. I thought it might be the shocks but after detaching the shock towers and giving the front a bounce it looks to be definantly somewhere at the top of the coil.

Are there any remedies to spring squeak?

Mate.. there is a thread about this not that long ago. I had the same problem and was told all these solutions, none worked... SO just because I was bored I greased the (sorry don't know what its called) but it's located in the engine bay at the bottom of the shock towers. Make sure you do BOTH sides front AND back. To my surprise, stopped my squeak instantaneously! You can make it bounce, go over speedhumps and not a peep out of the front end.

Fixed another 3 Falcons this way! Yours might be a different problem but worth a try!

Yeah, grease the upper arm pivots, (as XWJG34 said!), and also the ball joints, assuming they have grease nipples and are not the sealed type. But make sure you don't pump too much grease in or you can rupture the boots on the balljoints/O-ring seals on the upper arms!

You liked the Ford squeak? It drove me nuts! :-)
