Squeaky suspension?

My cars suspension started to squeak a bit lately especially coming out of driveways etc, the cars an ef2 xr6 and has king springs.

I think i remember hearing a while ago that most people to just regrease the bushes and this usually stops the squeaking?

Re: Squeaky suspension?

My EFII Fairmont has the full pedders sports rider kit and it too squeaks. Its the bushes in the top wishbone that are the culprit. What i usually do is spray a bit of WD40 in there and it lasts about 2-3 months. Driving in the wet washes the lubricant out of there but the water tends to moisten the rubber up anyways. I'm just being patient with it till i get my suspension replaced... Hope this helps

Re: Squeaky suspension?

amother place these cars like to squeak is the sway bar body mount bushes. after a period of time the powder coating comes off the bar and beds into the bush. a quick clean with emery tape and a smear of rubber grease works wonders.
