steel wheel mods

Hello Guys


I was given a set of 15 inch 4stud steel rims. is it posible to redrill the stud holes to suit my cars studs.

You probably can, but I wouldn't do it with steel rims. They could crack because they are made for specific stud patterns.

hmmm have to find out i fought they just weld up the old holes etc.

Cheaper to get some EL 15inch steelies.

There's a lot more to it than welding up the old holes, like offset, width...
I doubt you would find any work shop that would do it.

i'd say you'd be better off going to a rim shop and asking them if they've got any lying around and try to do a swap or throw them a bit of cash, it'd be cheaper by a fair way still.

If you want 15" steel/interceptor type rims for the Escort, get some 15x6 Saab rims from a Saab wrecker, fits Escorts as they have same stud pattern.
