street/race tyres

A couple of things ... anyone recommend a good legal street/race tyre?? Wear is not a concern because they wont be on the car that much ... 225-235 x16 60 series. Gotta have 6 only for targa
Second ... anyone know somewhere down south where I may be able to get them cheap ??
