Hey guys Ive got an EBII I6 and have had most things relplaced on the steering rack and today out of no where as i was making a sharp (but slow) right hand turn i heard as if sumthing was clickin and it turned about 1/4 of what it was sapoused to and now it feels that heavy as if the power steering is out but its brand new (4 months) and has fluid in it and is working......whats wrong with it???
Try lubricating the lower column bush. You can get to it from in the engine bay where the steering shaft comes through the firewall. It is quite comon for the bush to start to seize up. Most times lubricating with WD40 will work.
