Me and my brother installed kings superlows and monroe GT Gas with reflex technology all round in my 1989 EA II S Pack sedan. It took us about 1.20hrs to do the rear and about 4 hours to do the front.

I just wanted to tell ya all that this combination is very good. The car sits very well. There is nearly no body role and breaking is 100% better. I can now take corners with ease.

My first thought was "Im gona to be pulled up by cops now". We installed them on Sunday, that night I drove through Perth and at a set of lights a cop pulled up next to me had a look and said nothing.

My old shocks and struts were dead, this would be the best updrade I have ever done to my EA.

I was thinking of selling it, but not now........
I now have heaps more mods planned.

ive just done the rear shocks + springs +bushes.......took way longer than 1.2hrs, more like 2days.....tends to happen when you dont have the right tools to start with :(........I went King Superlows + sensatracks.....ive heard bad storys about that combination, but ahhhh well........

I went with the same combo, king superlows and sensatraks on my 95 Ef Fairmont, the result has been excellent. The car rides and handles a heap better. It also looks a lot better than the standard ass in the air Fairmont stance.

I wimped out and got my mechanic to do it, as I have a tendency to stuff things up. My knowledge and ability runs out after filter and oil changes.

it cost me $180 for the springs (kings superlows) and $230 for the 2 front struts and the 2 rear shocks(all are monreo GT Gas with reflex technology) also got a bush kit for free. Everything was at mates rates.

Installation cost nothing as i did it myself. It is not that hard....

i paid

$150 for a set of 4 King Superlows
$180 for a set of front sensatrack short struts
$85 for a set of rear sensatrack shcoks

Speedy, im just about to do my front suspension.

Did you have to pull appart the wheel bearing and take the rotor off to get the steering knuckle out at all?

Also any hints/tips before i start? Im putting in 4 new balljoints new bushes all round new springs+shocks as well

Round here, the best I've been quoted is $230 for set of kings 'on special'. And $370 for a set of shocks. NOT Fitted.

As a package i was qouted 800 for springs and shock installed. And 850 for lot with camber kit (different places) :(

And do tou need a spring compressor thingo for instalation?

I purchased my King springs from www.performanceparts.com.au - was $210 at the time including postage.
