EL Fairmont.
Just after a bit of final advice, got some superlows today going to install them on sunday, im keeping stock shocks as there servicable & ive been told that I shouldnt need new shocks as its only lowering the car 40mm or so. Anyone lowered car with these springs and keeped stock shocks?

Also the bump stop ive been adviced to chop it in half, cut 10mm off ect ect. whats with that?? sounds a little fked doing such a thing, i mean must be there for a reason. Any advice on this also would be a great help as ive barely touched suspension before.

i put superlows in my EF without changing the shockers.

doesn't ride nice anymore, and now i have a few noises in the back, im sure one is the exhuast hitting the swaybar. front seems ok though.

I replaced srings with stock shocks, no noise what so ever so worked out well. What you mean doesnt ride nice?? I put in superlows & it rides 200% better, doesnt handle like a boat anymore, didnt expect that much difference.

YOU DONT HAVE TO cut the bumpstops as they compress thats the idea of them if you cut them or remove them you have a good chance of punching out the footvalve at the bottom of the shock and stuffing it cheers GREG
