Suspension and/or body kit

Can anyone tell me how much a full body kit would cost me for my 88 EA Falcon?

How much does it cost to lower the car?

Thanks

kit

I too have seen a few body kits for EA's. check out canberracarstyling.com.au for a gallery of them. They range from about 1000 to 2750 they quoted me for the GT body kit. But be warned, apparently by putting a body kit on your car you are disgracing it...i don't know how....but thats just what I have been told.

As far as lowering goes, i don't have a clue. sorry
Chow.

lowering

Budget for around $500-$600 for Pedders shockers and depending on spring brands, about $200-$250. Add about $100-$160 labour. Rough price. Someone else might be able to confirm prices, but these were what i was getting quoted at one stage. Hope this helps. Ring up a few susension joints to get a quote.

FAST!!!

Hey wadem, is your EA fast, this is just my personal opinion, but I believe you should't waste your money on a kit until you've got the power to back up the looks. It would be better to spend the money modifying your engine, $2000 can get your EA moving! I don't know though because you may have already done this.

What s pack kit

There never was or is an spack kit on a falcon, there was the xr kits which were always optional and only avaliable for the eb obviously, like mine the sprint kit or there is the ebgt, and then the assorted svo and brock ea kits so there are a few. The better looking ones are the ebgt and the sprint kits, but ur looking at min of 1500 and then u have to get it sprayed and put on, and no use being tight about it if u want to go that far.

And totally agree on spend the money on making it fast, a good mix of stunning and ballsy is great, i dont think it the best idea to put kit's on older cars, mine was like that so it stays there.

If u have to make a choice, u could get a full suspention package, not just springs and shocks for about 1k and u would appreciate it more than lots of fiberglass.

!

Damn, I didn't relize it was that bad, get rid of that 3.2L as soon as possible, you'll gain a shit load more power with a 3.9l multipoint and will use the same, if not less fuel. If you wan't to make your car look better, just lower it, don't waste your money on a kit.

I would only start putting a kit when it reaches eb XR spec.

How much would it cost to put a 3.9L MPFI engine in my 1988 EA which has a 3.2L CFI?

Thanks
