I am trying to put my left front shock back in. When I sit the shock onto/into the spring saddle the shaft of the shock hits the top of the shock tower .
The front right was no problem.
The spring saddle is not sitting flat enough and I have no idea why or how it could have got that way or the $64000 question is....How do I fix it?
Or am I missing something?

Put a jack under the lower control arm & jack it up then fit the shock absorber
