I want to change my front sway bar to stiffen up the front end and get rid of some of that dreaded body roll.
What are people running? how much did you pay? and are you happy with the result?
I'm using EF sway bars, but am yet to actually test if they've made a difference. Infact I haven't driven my car for that long that i've prolly forgotten how my one felt before hand
as others have said, EF sway bars are basically ED XR6 spec (1 or 2 mm larger then stock GL) and can be had for fairly cheap ($20ish at JR's for each end.)

I've got EF front and rears, with nolathane bushes. I noticed a difference right away. Much stiffer. I'll be going for EL XR ones some day soon to stiffen it up even more.
Just make sure you do the front and back, although front only could be fun
I was going to do the front in the next week or 2, and do the rear when I change the diff. I might see if I can get my hands on a set of ef/el ones or XR ones if I can find them. Was there a difference in the bars they put in the ef/el xr8 to the xr6? Or any of the ef/el variants with v8's?
Early E series had 26mm front bars with later ones having 27mm. The difference is bugger all, you are far better off buying a 30mm unit to make any real difference.
Rick.

the fact that the 30mm ones are about 100x the price of the 27mm ones, i can see why its a nice little upgrade
