my cars in bad need of a lowering job and i'm considering 2 options, from what i've seen the tickford suspension looks to be lower then things like king spring lows or the likes, is it possible to get tickford suspension fitted to an EF GLi?
or are king springs lows actually lower then the tickford option?

superlows are out of the question due to insurance
its just the king spring lows i've seen on cars seem to be riding higher then cars that are optioned with the tickford suspension, its prolly just the tickford springs have sagged

Could always track down s/hand tickford springs, in the hope that they are sagged to get the "extra" drop!!! That would help you with your insurance problem.

I just fitted the Tickford suspsension kit to my AU fotre and it is great. Lower than my XR8 ute and the improvment in the handling was remarkable.
I beleive the same kit fits El-AU and you can find a lot of dealers running them out for around $500.
We replaced the tickford suspension in my brothers ef xr6, with "superlows", Because the lows are the same height as the tickford gear.
When we took the old gear out it had xr8 springs in the front for some reason

Kit consists of King lows and Monroe Gas shortened shocks.
If dealers are selling the kit for EL-AU (would have to be for live axle rear end, not IRS) at $500, I would definitely go that way. No point going after market at that price, as I doubt you will get it any cheaper.
As a guide, king springs are around $130 per pair ($260 for 2 sets) Front struts are around the $100 mark each and a rear pair about the same ($300 for shocks), making a total of around $560, plus fitting.
