I love these wheels, i was originally looking at the AU XR8 tickford wheels, now i'v found a set that look exactly the same only chrome. Are these the same AU XR8 tickford wheels just in chrome & available from ford?

Does anyone else have them on there car, if so would you mind posting some photos, id love to see what these wheels look like on the different Falcons..

Yep. Just the AU 2's in chrome. You can get these I think and take them to a wheel painter and I think they can make them chrome for you. I have a picture of a red ed with the same chrome wheels. Pm me your email address and I'll send them to you if you like

There actually just polished up arn't they, considering they are alloy to start with, I don't mind it, I wonder what it would cost to do this to mine.

polished up? i think they are chrome... if not chrome painted.

I saw a set that were painted Black to Suit the AU XR8 in Silhouette. I saw it at the Summernats and I thought I snapped a shot of it, but in the end, all i got was the back of the car. No wheel shot. Pity, cause I 've done the T3 Kit and Pursuit lip on my XR6, and I have the AU2's and was thinking about getting the gutter marks repair and the rims painted black to suit. I want to try that, before spending 2 grand on a set of 18 Inch fury's

How much would i be looking at to have the wheel spainted chrome do you kno?
Theres a set of these wheels available in EF offset on ebay atm for $875.

They are Chrome, you can acctually get Ford Explorer ones that are basically the same.

Thats abou $220 a rim. I think thts a good price especially as they are in the offset which is the same as your car.

i was looking at these rims too, i was going to get a set of C5 rims in silver for my EB at only $899 fitted with tyres locknuts and nuts but the offset was wrong. i'm tossing up between the AU II XR8 and the BA XR6 in the offset for the E series in silver.. which do you guys think are best? anyone got any piks of either on an EB? and as for the chrome they are an aftermarket immiation of the orginal XR8 ones. Like the ones im looking at getting.
