Can someone please help me. I'm after a set of tires for my E.A.Falcon that will last longer than 2 years of conservative driving.Firestone lasted 2 years,Classics lasted 2 years,Yokohama 2 years and Perelli 12 months.I have rung around but no one has been willing to give me independant advice.some suggestions would be very helpful.Thank you.WHEEL SIZE-5.5JJ 14 inch.

How many km are you talking, that's a better measure than no. of years. Also your driving style has a lot to do with it as no doubt all the advice has said. Perhaps Khumo?

perelli should have out done the lot it sounds like they may have died from lack of correct inflation cheers

My record is 12 months and 30,000 km using A539's. The tyres that lasted the least time were something like a monza and they had far less grip, especially in the wet.

It depends on how many km's you do?

Why is it that you must have a greater than 2yr life?

It also has to do with use (towing, burnouts, inflation etc...)
