i`m gonna need new tires on my ea soon i just wanted to know if any one out there could give me some ideas on what to buy
im thinking of falken`s because my dad has them on his au and they seem pretty good anyway what do you guys think?

anything falken is good. What size r u after? falkens are considered sports tires.... does ur car have mag wheels?

it will have when i change the wheels im thinking of P215/35R17 tires on 17' mags

not 215/35 on 17s!! noooo!

that'll throw your speedo way out!! you want 215/50 or 235/45 on 17s

what tyres are you buying right now? ones for 17s? or 14s? 15s?

how much are you willing to pay? are you buying tyres just to get wheels on the car? is money an object?

i got WANLI s1099 tyres for 145 each(mega special, dont expect any less than 160ea).. they're a copy of yokohama AVS sport(check my car pics, you can see tread pattern in one).. pretty decent tyre too, as they beat my bridgestone potenzas on 15" for sheer lateral grip(-that could be attrib. to the upg to 17" rim. same performance on accel/brake).

otherwise cheapies are barum,nankang,soyo..(i havent used these.. but they're cheap)

good ones are bridgestone.. havent had experience with any other tyres so i wont judge them.

nah im not buy ing yet im just doing research im buying later this year along with 17'' rims which i havnt picked yet

ah.. are you lookin to buy expensive tyres?

start off with cheapies, then when you're confident with the handling of 17" rims you can get the good rubber and really appreciare it, instead of being too afraid of hitting kerbs.

thats what i'm doing.. i'll be buying some $300ea+ tyres next round..

nah i wont be as paranoid as my mum is with her laser and parking 1 meter from the kerb i know the size of my car its easy with a box like a ea i can park millimeters from any thing and i still havent got my L plates but ill probably get cheap tyres because i wont be able to buy the expensive brands
