i was just wanting to know what the difference between the brakes on the series 3 au ts50 (not the brembo upgrade) and the series 3 au xr8 r if any

All T-Series disks were grooved.

ok beautiful so fitting these to my xr8 would be an improvement and not just putting the same brakes on. it also seems that the t-series had 329mm front rotors and my xr has 287 mm fronts.

when i fitted TS50 brakes to me AU S1 forte i got a set of vrackets with it which bolted straight onto the S2/3 uprights. hence i assume that bracket will space out the calipers to 329mm

I went from Au2 xr8 stocko brakes up to AU3 T3 brakes and there was a big difference.

Au2 - 3 Premium brakes are the standard on the T3's with the option for them being the Brembos.

That being said Premium brakes on the au got you bigger 329mm front groved rotors with a slightly different designed 2 pistion caliper. The rears had the stock sized discs with grooves and stock calipers
