Black XR

can anyone enighten me as to why there seems to be 2 different 5 spoke wheels for the GT.

On the FPV site theres the single type spoke as whell as the double look spoke?

I like the look of the single look spoke.....they are the ones I want on mine....i bet i end up with the double look ones

i think u might be refering to the XR 18" optional rims.

they look better than the gt rims... heres a pic

Maybe so, but you'll be really down-grading your GT if you chuck on the XR optionals, in my opinion.

Stick with the GT rims - they are apparently a modern day representation of the old school GLOBE rims, and they look great up close!
If not there is always aftermarket (not from FORD) rims to look at.

I'm not a big fan of the BA GT Wheels, not the best wheel that Ford has come up with (real Globe Bathurst wheels aren't much like them, real ones look much better). I do like the 18" option wheel on the XR though. As someone else stated though, it would be a down grade to a GT to fit them in my opinion.

i dont know how you can say that it would be a downgrade to put on a far better looking wheel! the XR optional 18s are awesome!...and in most peoples opinion look alot better, and would probably wish that the GT had came with those wheels instead, and the XR18s were the ones the GTs have.

I like the XR8 wheels better. The GT ones seem too fat around the spokes to look good.

Every time I look at these GT's or GTP's I really think it shoudl have come out with a set of 19s... 18s look a bit small:)

Yeah i agree blackout..

but if it was me choosing i'd go straight to aftermarket rims as soon as possible. Not really fussed on the GT or GTP rims.
